Born in Cuautla, Morelos, Mexico, but raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Gaby’s love for the sunny outdoors ultimately drew her back to her homeland. Settling in Los Cabos, she has spent the past ten years exploring the Baja and the rest of Mexico, finding beauty in every city, fishing town, or virgin beach that she’s visited.

Gaby’s knowledge of Los Cabos and the Baja is truly unmatched. Whether through reading or traveling, her passion to discover and enjoy all of Mexico has moulded her into an expert who knows where to find the best swimmable beaches, local hangouts, and top-tier neighborhoods to live in. She is passionate about connecting to her roots, learning about indigenous cultures, and sharing her love and wisdom of Los Cabos with others. Her hobbies include meditating on the beach, bird watching, or outdoor boxing, surrounded always by the stunning nature of Los Cabos. She has recently taken up deep-sea fishing, and even after a decade of living in this extraordinary place, she is still amazed when she sees a whale from her car as she is driving along the Tourist Corridor.
