Born in Cuautla, Morelos, Mexico, but raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Gaby’s love for the sunny outdoors ultimately drew her back to her homeland. Settling in Los Cabos, she has spent the past 14 years exploring Baja California Sur and the rest of Mexico, finding beauty in every city, fishing town, and untouched stretch of coastline she visits.

Gaby’s knowledge of Los Cabos and the Baja is truly unmatched. Whether through reading or travelling, her passion for discovering and experiencing Mexico has shaped her into a local expert who knows where to find the best swimmable beaches, authentic local hangouts, and sought-after neighbourhoods to call home. She is passionate about connecting with her roots, learning about indigenous cultures, and sharing her love and knowledge of Los Cabos with others. A genuine people person, Gaby loves meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and creating meaningful connections wherever she goes. She has also worked as a private tour guide, sharing her local knowledge and helping visitors experience Los Cabos and Baja California Sur through a more authentic lens. Outside of work, she enjoys road-tripping throughout Baja Sur, meditating by the ocean, and spending time in nature. More than 14 years after making Los Cabos home, she remains deeply connected to the region and continues to appreciate the people, landscapes, and traditions that make this corner of Mexico such a special place to live.
